2-factor authentication (2-FA) verification is a security process that requires a user to provide two different authentication factors to access an account.


The purpose of 2-FA is to make it more difficult for unauthorized users to gain access to an account, even if they have the user's password.


When a user enables 2-FA on their Usetiful account, they are required to enter their password as the first and then provide the second factor by entering a code generated by Googe Authenticator app on their mobile device, or by using a security code.


How to enable 2-factor authentication on your Usetiful account?


- After logging into your Usetiful account, go to the Account settings and click on enable 2-factor authentication option.


- Download and install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.

- You can link the app to your Usetiful account by scanning the QR code or manually entering a code provided by the account service.


* Please note that when enabling 2-FA on your Usetiful account, you will receive 10 backup codes that you can use to access your account in case you lose access to your Google Authenticator app. It is important to keep these codes somewhere safe, as they are the only way to log in if you are unable to generate a code using the app.


- After the 2-FA is enabled on your Usetiful account when logging into your account, you need to enter a code generated by the app as the second factor of authentication.
